Hello Amazing People!

My heart aches to witness the fear-based culture that is thriving today and strive for the progression to bring awareness to the positive effects of personal growth and lifestyle changes. Together, they create a better environment for overcoming the challenges of isolation, disconnection from self, and diminishing self-worth with the practices self-care, daily routines, finding an authentic self, and personal development.

A little about Kamie…

As a Yoga Therapist and an Ayurvedic Practitioner, I have owned and operated a yoga studio in Anoka for almost 20 years, facilitating a 200-hour yoga teacher training program. I have taught yoga for 24 years, 10 of which also included Ayurveda, a form of eastern medicine. I work closely with clients on structural anatomy, biomechanics and human movement, lifestyle consulting, hormone health; and mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

I am an artist and an athlete, and I live my life with a purpose. Between painting and writing, I run ultramarathons as a pastime. I created a life that supports what I practice and teach with my ultimate purpose being able to guide my clients to their true potential. I enjoy helping those who are ready to open their perspectives to attaining optimal health through personalized preventative and self-care.

I am an open book. My personal evolution from challenges, obstacles, and blessings allow me to connect with others and guide them through their self-expressions. I have shaped my struggles into strengths and use these experiences to grow. This is my purpose in life. I believe that each of us has the potential to be healthy and maintain optimal health through stress and tribulations.

For centuries, Eastern medicine has been at odds with Western ideals. Now more than ever, it is possible to unite these two approaches to create a fuller picture of wellness. They are not opposing forces but rather two approaches that can be successfully blended to complement each other to support routines, optimal wellness through nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress management. The combination of these teachings creates a foundation for personal self-care and wellness and the positive effects of this mixture radiate throughout daily interactions and outlooks.

See you Soon!
