Bodywork Sessions

A diverse bodywork session combining Cupping, Craniosacral Therapy, Marma Therapy, Acupressure, and Gua Sha provides many therapeutic advantages. Each technique contributes uniquely to the individual’s well-being. Craniosacral and Marma Therapy are incorporated as fundamental treatments, seamlessly woven into every bodywork session.

Marma Therapy

Marma therapy, originating from Ayurvedic medicine, involves stimulating specific energetic points (marma points) on the body through gentle touch, massage, or tools such as a tuning fork. Serving as both a diagnostic and treatment tool, it aims to harmonize the body’s energy flow.

Cupping Therapy (Fire and Silicone)

Cupping therapy, an alternative medicine, involves applying cups to the skin and creating suction. These cups are usually made of glass or silicone. Traditionally, suction is created by heating the air inside the cup using fire, as in fire cupping, or a more modern practice by pinching the flexible silicone cups.

*Only dry cupping is available; wet cupping is not offered. Please consult the provided description for more details on the differences between these techniques.

Cranioscaral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy centers on the cranial bones and sacrum’s rhythmic motions. Through gentle touch, practitioners aim to alleviate restrictions in the craniosacral system, promoting the body’s innate healing capabilities. Craniosacral therapy offers multifaceted benefits because it effectively reduces stress, relieves headaches, improves sleep, and optimizes central nervous system function.

Acupressure

Acupressure, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, utilizes pressure on specific acupuncture points along the body’s meridians. Its objective is to harmonize the flow of Qi, or vital energy. Acupressure is frequently integrated with other bodywork modalities.

Gua sha

Gua sha employs a smooth-edged tool to scrape the skin, enhancing blood flow and easing muscle tension, commonly focusing on the back, neck, and shoulders. It is often blended with other bodywork techniques. This practice effectively reduces inflammation, alleviates muscle pain, boosts circulation, and encourages the body’s innate healing process.
