If you are looking for another tool to bring mindfulness into your life, mediation is that tool. In a world where we are constantly moving, we need to create a time to be still. When we are living in a constantly rushed state we are not making any progress, we can only move backward.  Meditation is used for bringing stillness and clarity to your mind, body, and breath.

We sit in meditation to notice what is. Often the mind is what we think of when we think of mindfulness but how often is it that our breath is rapid or some part of our physical body is constantly moving without us realizing? We sit in meditation to notice what is. If we take the time to notice our breath, our bodies, our mind, and our emotions we are able to gain acceptance of what is and find peace within.

We can’t control what is happening around us, but it is important for us to adapt and accept what we can’t change. Meditation is one route to find the answers that we need to be able to.

In this workshop, we will learn the benefits of mediation, the multiple ways that mediation can be practiced, and end with a meditation that will send you off with a welcoming outlook into this practice. This workshop is for anyone who is looking for a little more calmness in their lives.
