Week Outline – To Register for all or individual classesÂ
- Week #1: February 15th – Warm-ups
- Warm-ups: Go through the reason we warm up our bodies the way we do each class.
- Week #2: March 1st – Standing
- Standing: Learn about how to practice safe alignment for your body, how to modify standing poses when needed, and when it is safe to go deeper into the pose.
- Week #3: March 15th – Back Bends, Forward Folds, Lateral Bends
- Backbends/Forward Folds/Lateral bends: Learn the importance of proper alignment of muscles used to bend forwards, backwards, and side to side.
- Week #4: March 29th – Hip Openers, Twists
- Hip openers/twists: Hip openers can bring emotions while twisting can be challenging, let Kamie show you how to do work through these poses with ease.
- Week #5: April 12th – Stabilizing, Balance
- Stabilization/Balancing: Our core is one of the most important parts in our body, learn how to create a strong core while gaining confidence in balancing poses.
- Week #6: April 26th – Inversions, Relaxation
- Inversions/Restoration: Learn how to do inversions safely and then learn how to completely let your body relax in savasana.
