The Whole-Hearted Living Program: A Journey to an Amazing life! with Kamie (Then Nest – NE MPLS)

Learn to peel away the layers of misbelief, find your truth, make better choices, calm your emotions, find mental stillness, and create clarity of thinking

In our small group sessions, Kamie will teach spirituality through a mixture of eastern and western philosophy that is easy to apply to your daily life. Her personal practice is in the Christian faith but she has gained a very open perspective on religion and spirituality through years of personal challenge, education, study, and growth. To attend, you do not have to be religious, but you must have an open mind about a spiritual life and the connection of us as humans to a source that is greater than us.

The first steps to personal growth is awareness of obstacles that need to be removed and changes that need to be made in order to grow. In our sessions, you will learn the keys to happiness, mindfulness, balance, energy and more. Our journey will be through virtues of life through the Yamas and Niyamas of the yoga philosophy, to find more ease and flow through your life. She has studied these ancient practices and found a link between to their traditional structures to make them easier to apply to modern lifestyles. The virtues of life consist of love and forgiveness, courage and gratitude, compassion and truthfulness, dedication and commitment, patience and understanding, self-discipline and wisdom, and surrender.

Yamas are ethical standards to conduct our lives. Niyamas translate as observances through self-discipline and spiritual practices. Often guidelines to ethical conduct leave us feeling overwhelmed, defeated, or boxed into a set of unrealistic rules.

The Yama and Niyama practices do not limit us from living life, but instead, enhance the deeper meaning of happiness and joy. These practices open us up to life many possibilities, supporting us on our personal journey of growth. It is our habits that limit our understanding, keeping us stagnant with our full potential out of reach.

Over the 12 weeks, Kamie will offer practices and guidance that she has used through her education, practiced in her personal life, and has used to support her clients in their personal growth. The practices are realistic and easy to incorporate into your life, with long-lasting, life-changing benefits. Remember that making effective changes takes discipline, routine, and accountability. According to research, it takes 21 days to change a habit and more to build a long-lasting change and routine.

Consistent practice is the key to change and personal growth. You will learn to peel away the layers of misbelief, find your truth, make better choices, calm your emotions, find mental stillness, and create clarity of thinking.
